DKS Factory Trained
DoorKing provides our Authorized Dealers with training programs on the installation, troubleshooting, and service of our Vehicular Automated Gate System products and Access Control System products. Training includes hands-on workshops, webinars, seminars, and other DoorKing product-specific training programs.
Institute for Dealer Education & Accreditation (IDEA)
The IDEA is an independent third-party certification organization. Development and oversight of training and testing materials is provided by an independent coalition committee of industry experts. IDEA requires a minimum of two (2) years of industry experience to become certified as an Automated Gate Systems Designer, Automated Gate System Installer, or any of the Automated Gate System Technician disciplines.
American Fence Association (AFA)
The AFA is a trade association that self-certifies their members. The development of training and testing materials is provided by the association. AFA requires a minimum of one (1) year of industry experience to become certified as a Gate Automation Technician.
