2112 eVolve Video Entry System
The 2112 eVolve is our most advanced and versatile residential Video Entry System, allowing the homeowner to program and control their System from virtually anywhere. The 2112 control dashboard is browser-based, so all that’s needed is an internet connection and a laptop, tablet, or smartphone to access the System settings.
With the DKS 2112 Resident app (required for video calling), the System can be controlled right from a smartphone, enabling users to grant entry to guests even from thousands of miles away. The 2112 features broadcast calling, which allows up to four phones to ring simultaneously when the call button is pushed. The 2112 can control up to three entry points and operates with either an internet (VoIP) or cellular connection.
Please note that the 2112 system uses the DKS Cloud for all operating functions and a monthly connection fee applies.

Easy Connection Setup for Any Property
The 2112 eVolve uses an Internet connection to provide Voice Calling, Video Calling and database management.
Customers who have easy access to an Ethernet connection at the entry system location can connect with their existing internet services. This provides full system function and performance for the 2112 eVolve. Programming is performed through a browser connection from any internet capable device. Our customers choose this option if they have convenient access to Ethernet at the entry system location, or if they already have infrastructure for other Ethernet services. |
Customers who do not have an Ethernet connection at the entry system location can use the optional DoorKing Cellular Kit (AT&T or T-Mobile). This is an additional cellular hardware kit and there is an additional monthly fee that provides a cellular internet connection for the 2112 eVolve. This will support the full system function and performance. Customers choose this option if they have difficulty trenching or running Ethernet Cable from their home network out to the entry system location. |
