As DoorKing’s original programming software, the Windows Account Manager has been previously known as the Desktop Account Manager and Remote Account Manager. No matter what we call it, this software is powerful, flexible and easy to use. The software was designed to reside on one PC and is a good programming method for multi-unit or multi-use buildings with one administrator or an onsite staff. Built to handle 1 to 3,000 access users, administrators can program from their PC anywhere there’s an internet connection, or program on location even without the internet (requires RS-232 connection to the Entry System). Available at no additional cost to you, this software is compatible with DKS 1833, 1834, 1835 and 1837 Telephone Entry and Access Control Systems, and with the 1838 Multi Door Card Access System.

Internet Connection Details:

To enable remote programming, there are several different methods that can be used to connect your programming PC to the DKS 1830 Series Systems via the internet. CLICK HERE for a description of each of these connection options.

IMPORTANT! If you are planning on using the modem-to-modem (non-internet) method to connect your PC to the 1830 Series System, CLICK HERE and read this document that contains important information about the modems that will work correctly with these systems. You should also be aware that direct connections from the user PC to the Entry System does not include any factory software programming support, which would be available to you for a $49.95 yearly software programming support fee.

1830 Series Access Controllers can be connected for voice (where applicable) and programming by any of these methods:

Cellular 4G-LTE service (note 1)

VoIP (note 2)

POTS – Plain Old Telephone Service (note 3)

User registration is required if using a VoIP or Cellular internet connection to enable remote programming. Watch the Cellular or VoIP video on how to register as a user and activate a System. Using our server eliminates the need of a modem, modem phone line, modem setup strings, modem software and includes software programming support.

Note 1: Requires DK IMServer Cellular subscription. 4G-LTE service provided by AT&T where available.

Note 2: Requires 1830-185 (manual setup) or 1830-186 (automatic setup) TCP/IP Adapter. 1830-186 requires DK IMSERVER Client subscription.

Note 3: Programming via several methods. Internet programming requires DK IMServer Modem subscription.
